  this was a comment i made from another post, but i would like to hear some people discuss this.

  i know the social justice warriors will scream i'm some sort of trump supporter for what i say even though i don't agree with his ideas and no i am not voting for him... i accept this is a go to for them.. i think we have fallen into a pc vacuum.. criticizing someones religion = racism!.

  telling someone to not be so sensitive = misogyny!.

  I think freedom of expression is much more important that political correctness and respectfulness..

  Simon gave some levels of freedom of expression:

  • Basement with friends
  • Starbucks

    This is an anonymous bord....of course we shuld feel much more free here than in the basement with friends.. Sometimes I wonder why americans are so afriaid of sexual explicit stories and sexual explicit jokes. Probably is making rude sexual jokes the most important sign of a really liberated mind (among people that used to be religios)
    And yes..already the french philosphers from the 17th and 18th century stated that the best way to deal with religion and religious people is by ridicule..

  Nope....there is no chans that you can be with her during that meeting.

  You have to do a lot of studying on the organisation and it's rules. I hope you will wake up....everything is micromanaged for JWs, not only holding hands at a coffeeshop.

  The WT knew in 1922 that 1914 was wrong !

  in the may 1922 edition of the wt, page 133, rutherford is writing defending the work of russell and the 1914 doctrine, he quotes what some have said to prove russell was wrong :.

  Please read the whole article. You just quoted a "remark" that opponent could raise..

  The interesting thing is that Rutherfor here argues for 1914 for the end of the gentile times, not for the return of Christ!

  Compare this to the old teachings about 1799 and 1874.

  I just found out that my youngest brother committed suicide

  my middle brother called me a couple of hours ago.

  our youngest brother, josh, who was 38, was found by his friends in his apartment.

  after 1975, the vast majority remained as though nothing has happened.

  but some left the organization.

  however, there arose a third category who did not leave the organization, but brought a new view into their heart: jws are right in their core cause (gods kingdom as the solution to mankinds problems) but may or may not be right in their supplementary teachings, hence are not bothered about changes happening in this unimportant area..

  So the core teachings are true and right......but not the other teachings....hmm

  So, tell us, why would God use his organisation in that way? Do you think God likes destuctive cults?

  And, why should God scare people away from his truth by using an american cult? Tht's not logical.

  By the way....you might be a liberal adventist without knowing it!

  Geoffrey Jackson's Golden Apple watch INVESTIGATED

  i went through the original footage to get a good look at the watch.. from these pictures we can probably say that it is a apple watch and that it has a golden color.

  the color on the pin is black, and the band is white, grey, silvery or beige.. .

  the pin is in the exact place for it to be a apple watch.. only apple watch edition have the gold color.

  Maybe the GB get a lot of gifts from rich JWs. But why showing off such thing as expensive watches in videos/TV? And at the commission hearing...

  Maybe it will become the Golden Apple Watchtower?! :P

  my parents were gone so i decided to talk to my sister.

  my jw spies tell me that the kingdom halls are empty compared to how they used to be, since i left 5 years ago.

  not saying they're empty because of me though.. is that what you are hearing?.

  Maybe a meeting for "field" service??

  This mosque (ex kingdom hell) , or at least some of it members, has a bad reputation for recruiting IS-soldiers to Syria among muslim immigrants....maybe a bit more brutal than the JW field service?

  You probably know that the society has sold quite a lot of buildings/kindom halls in Sweden...so yes, it would probably be sold.

  The big KH in Orebro is now an islamic center(mosque) and The big one in Göteborg/Angered is now an islamic school (if I rememer it right).

  And the Bethel in Arboga is now sold aswell as the assembly hall in Stragnas.
